When your pet is not feeling well, you want to provide relief for them as quickly as possible. But, what do you do when a concern arises after normal business hours or your family vet is booked up? While emergency hospitals can provide immediate, life-saving treatment, many issues don't require that level of care.

Veterinary urgent care exists to fill this gap. Like human urgent care, a veterinary urgent care clinic fits between your family veterinarian and emergency care. Our trained team is available to treat the cases that just can’t wait, because your pet deserves to feel better as quickly as possible.

When is urgent care appropriate?

If your pet is ill or injured, you may wonder whether you should wait to see your vet, take them to an emergency hospital, or consider urgent care. We can treat a wide range of urgent issues, including:

If your sick pet’s condition suddenly deteriorates, we are here to provide immediate assistance to help them pass as peacefully as possible. We provide compassionate end-of-life care to help make a pet’s final moments serene and pain-free. If you’re unsure whether your pet is ready for euthanasia, our skilled team can help you assess their quality of life and determine whether it’s the right time to say goodbye.

We do not offer critical overnight care or advanced treatments such as blood transfusions. If your pet requires intensive care, we will stabilize them and coordinate transfer to a nearby facility that can provide 24-hour care.

What does urgent care not cover?

We do not offer primary veterinary services, such as wellness visits, vaccinations, parasite prevention, dental cleanings, or routine surgeries, such as spay and neuter procedures. These services are important but are best handled during a scheduled visit with your family veterinarian.

We also do not treat life-threatening injuries or illnesses, such as:
